Dawn Falley's Update on Lily 10 & 1/2 yo

Hi,

I wanted to post a separate update for my daughter Lily.

She also will be on NV for 1 year on Feb. 18th. with much success in the area of

cognitive skills and speech.

Also, we will be discussing taking her off her seizure meds. that she has been

on now for 5 yrs.

Before NV it was like Lily was in the room with you but she was in a fog. Now,

she is totally aware of everything that is going on and being said to her and

even things that are being NOT said to her!For example, my husband was asking my

son to get him a glass of water & kept saying No, all of a sudden Lily

comes into the room with a bottle of water from the fridge for her Dad! So cute.

Her teacher even said that she will do things that she has asked an assistant to

do like get another student a tissue, they'll turn around & Lily will be doing

it already!

I am hoping the upcoming year will be just as exciting for her (and us)!
