Guest guest
I was able to get our six year old last year to take NV by just mixing the powder with ice cream and a tablespoon of water. She really diliked it any other way. You said he is dairy free, but there are some soy ice creams I think. We took a long break from NV (6 months) then came back in the fall. Now I just mix water and she hates it and gags but takes it because she knows its good for her. Last night and this morning I mixed the vanilla with mint choc chip ice cream and there was way less gagging and she ate it so much quicker. The ice cold makes it more palatable and slightly refreshhing. Maybe mix it in chopped ice in the blender and add some gross syrup-like strawberry(oh, I did that in the beginning too just to get her to drink it when I tried making a drink). 2 year olds dont care how good something is for them-they want taste!! > > Does anyone have any ideas on how to hide the NV? Guest guest
In addition to what Cheryl suggested want to mention there is a serving suggestion page here http://pursuitofresearch.org/products/nutriiveda/nv-serving-suggestions/ and a recipe page here http://pursuitofresearch.org/products/nutriiveda/nutriiveda-recipes/ We need to add more recipes- so any suggestions please let me know! But PS -I used to have to " doctor up " the NV for my boys and now both will drink it with water. My son Tanner only likes chocolate and Dakota the vanilla so I can't switch them to see if one flavor has more dramatic surges -but is there anyone having dramatic surges on vanilla??? I mean I know it works from Dakota but he didn't need dramatic surges -but then again unlike Tanner he still needs fish oils and Tanner no longer regresses if off (but again I don't plan on stopping them at low dosage just for health reasons) =====
