Yes, I purchased the book. My daughter has issues with un-integrated

reflexes as well. We started with the program, but did not stick with

it long, due to several things taking up our time. However, I do plan

on restarting it sometime this spring, as she starts kindergarten in the

fall. Which reflexes are you working on, and what exercises?

" Disconnected Kids " by Dr. Melillo? If so did you go to a brain

balance center or do the home program,and did you find it beneficial?

was impressive. She is almost eight years old but they said she wouldn't

be elidgable for the program until underlying influences of some

primitive reflexes were integrated. They gave us home exercises to do

Hi Cheryl,

One of those Brain Balance centers opened up not too far from where I live and I

was talking about it with a friend of mine. This is what she shared with me, and

I found it to be very interesting, at least, the other side and how these

centers target a specific population of parents.

Hi,

We're just about to start down this movement and brain/body connection path.

We're going to begin using the Masgutova Method, BrainGym, and the Anat Baniel.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone using these methods with apraxia

and sharing experiences and hopefully real progress.

the relexes are the primitive reflexes normally FULLY inegrated around 4 to 6

months old: MORO reflex, Aysmetric tonic neck reflex, tonic neck

reflex,rooting,symetric tonic neck,...The exercises are moving somewhat in

positions opposite of what would occur if the the reflex were to be

triggered-very basic and simple. Did you do the exercises from the book? Was her

hemisphericity obvious? thanks, cheryl
