Guest guest
Thanks Lucy! I'll use this recipe with an additional half a cup of blue- or blackberries, as well as 10 grams of fiber extracted from potatoes. My hope is that the extra fibers will bring down the glycemic index, though I'm not sure if it will. I've previously been using soy milk. I'm thinking about ending this practice, either by not using soy at all or by using some amount of soy protein powder. Is this a good thing to eat daily or should I try to get something else for breakfast every now and then for diversity? What's the approximate energy content in this shake? /Ake (btw, the name is pronounced " oke " as in " okey " ) On Monday 13 May 2002 20:12, you wrote: > 1 cup nonfat(skim)milk > half a cup plain nonfat yogurt > 1 orange peeled and seeded > half a banana > 4 dried apricotsplumped in water overnight and drained > 1 tablespoon wheat germ > 1 scant tsp brewer's yeast > place all in blender and whip for several minutes. > > Hope this is what you were looking for and helps. > Lucy > > > >
