Now enrolling children with Autism

between the ages of 3-7

Researchers at UCSF’s Autism and Neurodevelopment Program are evaluating an

experimental medication for the treatment of Autism.

 

Study Duration:  8 Weeks involving 4 visits and 2 Blood Draws with an optional

2 additional months of active treatment

 

Qualified volunteers may receive at no cost:

v  Physical exam and diagnostic evaluation

v  Written report of diagnostic evaluation

v  Study medicine

v  Study related medical care

v  A small payment for time, travel and parking expenses, if requested

 

This study will compare Methyl B12 to placebo (an inactive substance, like

purified water). For part of the study, children might receive Methyl B12 or

placebo.
