Guest guest
I found the best thing to give my child was encouragment. She was diagnosed with apraxia by 3 different speech therapists,at 3 different clinics. When I finally got fed up with nothing working I pulled her out of the clinic. It seemed nothing was working. After about a month she started to talk, but if I tried to push it she would stop. I encourage her to talk but don't force it and I pretend not to understand her when she gestures or points to something. She has improved more in the last 6 months than in all the time in therapy. She just wasen't ready to talk yet. I did try fish oil, but that was about 2 years ago. I don't know how people can give they're kids drugs of any kind unless they are sick. Encourage your kids, don't push them and let them be kids.
