Guest guest
I have been told that Dr. on at the Dan L. Duncan Children's Neurodevelopmental Clinic (Childrenslearninginstitute.org), Houston,Tx is the best developmental pediatrician. We have our first appointment on May 11th. Another group I was impressed with was UTMB in Galveston. We saw Dr. . When you see her, you see speech, teacher, nutritionist, and physical therapist. Hope this helps some. We've also been to the Blue Bird Clinic and Meyer's Developmental Clinic. After those visits, we went to UTMB. > > Hello, > > I wanted to know if anyone can recommend any good Developmental Pediatricians in Houston or surrounding areas? > > Thanks >
Guest guest
The best Pediatrician is supposed to be Dr. on.  I canceled our appointment and took my son to a developmental specialist Tempa Weir but I did not need extensive testing or anything special.  Also the Carruth Center has some great drs but again not exactly what you are looking for.  http://www.carruthcenter.org/CarruthCenter/Home.html Krista From: LH <lrkhmomx3@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Developmental Pediatrician in Houston, Tx? Guest guest
Thanks for the recommendations! I checked out Dr. on and I noticed he doesnt accept insurance. I looked at his fees and there pretty high to us. My husband and I definitely wants to find someone else who accepts insurance. Is Dr. a developemental pediatrician? I looked up information about her and it appears she doesnt specialize in that. > > > > > > I have been told that Dr. on at the Dan L. Guest guest
You're right about Dr. on. He does not take insurance. We have to file the claim on our own. We were told about him last year. We didn't go due to the insurance part. As far as Dr. goes, we saw her because the dev. pedi we were supposed to see called in sick. Dr. just happened to be the one we saw. She is the medical director and a professor in pediatrics. We liked her, because she treated us like no other doctor we had seen. She actually listened. She also spoke to our insurance about increasing our number of speech visits per year. We actually felt like " people " when we went there. We weren't rushed through like other places we had been. > > > > > > > > > > > > I have been told that Dr. on at the Dan L.
