Guest guest
Leah for your child if you don't know lots about whole food nutrition -I'd share nutriiveda with your child's doctor. If a banana came with a nutritional label today many would hesitate to give it to their child asking " is 467 mgs of potassium safe for a 30 pound child?! " The more I have learned about nutriiveda the more I smile when I tell people to check with their child's doctor- because goodness knows people feed their child all kinds of stuff like egg protein from Eggo waffles, dairy from Kraft macaroni and cheese, fruit from Captain Crunch (with crunch berries)...so why or how would the average person today even know what whole food means? Is? What it takes to grow it, to produce it, to serve it simply and right. " Can I feed my child a 100 percent natural whole food source of nutrition that contains all of the essential amino acids that is nourishing and delicious? " You may have missed it but I did a comparison to both Yoohoo and Carnation Instant Breakfast now -so you can also ask your child's doctor if this is OK to feed your child instead of either of them. Share info from here http://pursuitofresearch.org/testimonials.html http://pursuitofresearch.org/science.html http://pursuitofresearch.org/faq.html and Mel's blog too http://littlemermaidmelanie.wordpress.com/category/ayurveda-journal which to me is nothing short of a miracle story. If people in this group didn't know Mel -if her case wasn't so well documented by professionals all over -that her family sued the PA school system (and won) it's almost like the entire thing is made up! I mean to go from essentially catatonic to full of life after decades of trying just about everything else under the sun??? To almost die from seizures and be on mega dosages of seizure meds for years and after THREE MONTHS of nutriiveda to have her doctor say that she'll probably be off all seizure meds by later this year -that her brain scans- for unexplainable reasons outside of nutriiveda -are now showing a normal healthy brain -seizure free for the entire time she's been on nutriiveda. But in short -YES!!!! I would have your child try it!! In my opinion everyone should check it out ASAP for so many reasons if they have a child with any sort of special needs. I had a mom come to my house today who heard about this. She has a son diagnosed with MR, multiple seizures throughout the day, 100 percent nonverbal and 11 years old. I have given her homework to start a journal too so that may be our next blog. But that's for kids. And most adults -but for you -no nutriiveda for you! Not trying to be soup man but really. You should not use it right now. The whey protein in it which is also an unusual pharmaceutical grade quality naturally and greatly the level of glutathione in your body which will get rid of any excess ama or toxins. Until there is research there is no way of knowing if the ama will pass the placenta or go into breast milk so for that reason nutriiveda is not recommended for pregnant or nursing moms. But once you are done nursing -I'd be ON IT if I were you! Nutriiveda supports the metabolic system so works with what your body needs -if you need to lose excess fat- you will -but if you need to gain muscle -you will there too. Oh and PS -if you put your child on it (which I believe all should based on what I've seen and now heard from just about all) measure height before starting. Don't be shocked at greater than normal growth spurts that happen pretty quick too. But in short for your little one -check with your child's doctor and anyone you know that is knowledgeable about nutrition. =====
