Guest guest
I use scales simply for reference; am I loosing weight or gaining? I don't need to know my exact weight. You just need a reference point from which to begin tracking your weight. As long as you use the same scale everytime you weigh, you know if you are making progress in the direction you desire. My bathroom scales weigh 4 pounds lighter than the doctor " s scales. I see no need to procure a set of scales to match the doctor's results. Also, if you use a set of mobile scales like standard bathroom types, it is important to place the scales in the same spot when you weigh yourself. You'll achieve a different result if you weigh over a carpeted surface as opposed to a hard surface. And you'll weigh different in various part of the same room depending on the floor support / substructure. And try to weigh at the same time of day no matter if you weigh daily, weekly, etc. Bob
