Guest guest
Hi, Let me tell you something about myself. Approximately 3 years ago after having been interested in cr from Walford first book, I started calorie restiction. I was approaching 50 (52 now). I lost weight (about 20lbs.) but because of personal things I strayed away, but still lurked on the lists. I am back to calorie restriction now with a new found enthusiasm due to health concerns (hypertension). I am one of those people with a life long obesity problem. I was a fat kid who (256 at my high at 5'8 " ) lost 80lbs when I was 18 and stayed fairly normal until my early 40's when I quit smoking, and started to gain weight again. Although I should probably only concern myself with the the calories(1400 or so) ,with optimal nutrition, I find I need the motivation of seeing the scale move. I would like to know if anyone has a home scale they are really pleased with. Sugestions? Thanks, S.
