Guest guest
Sorry so many questions. Haven't been able to REALLY connect here till this weekend. I've been immersed in reading all of this a bit of this weekend. Sometimes I answer my own questions to you as I keep reading. I ordered NV and ProEFA. Question- says the new EFA has some E added to it. Is that ok? Keep reading how awful too much E is. Is it ok to put NV in orange juice? I read another post of yours- talking about when you first started fish oils, then went to EPA, then carnosine. This will sound naive, but do you need the EPA and carnosine if you do ProEFA with NV? Just trying to understand. My son just turned 5 a week ago. He is in a special pre-k class for speech/language issues at Atlanta Speech School. He will do the " young 5's " class next year (transition class before k-garten). He sees a SLP 2x/week for 1/2 hour at school (as well as his lead teacher being an SLP along with an OT assistant and special ed. assistant). He sees an OT for one 45 min. session/week for sensory and low tone. He is on therap. listening and is doing great with that. He's been on fish oils, but only 200 mg/day. So, going with ProEFA. He does karate and gymnastics and is about to start on soccer with his class buddies. He's was at 70% with artic. as of Nov. Then he started therap. listening and is getting his letters quickly now (has gotten c/k's, g's, sh's, ch's, and y's since Nov. And didn't do ending sounds before Nov. and is now getting those really well. So, the only letters left for him are l,r and th. Thinking I should start ProEFA this week when I get it and then NV a bit later (how much later?). Do I need to do the carnosine, EPA, etc. as well? Thanks for any info. We're very into the Lorenzo Oil mode. Running out of $, but committed to doing anything that will help our child. -marie
