Hi Randy,

I do not know where you live in So. Cal but I am in Orange County and

I really like my Rheumatologist, Dr. Leehealy, in Irvine. I

think she still works part time at UCI, too. I would highly recommend

her. She is young, up to date, listens well and open minded. Another

popular one I have heard about is Dr. Thai in Huntington

Beach. There are two more that I have heard good things about and I

will write again when I remember their names.

If you are in L.A., the Rheummies at UCLA or USC are probably a good

bet because of their top notch med. schools. In San Diego, I'd check

out UCSD.

I hope this helps. Please keep us posted. This web group is a great

resource and support for me. Keep sharing and asking questions.

Regards,

in CA

P.S. I like both Mr. Greenjeans on Capt. Kangaroo and the Mr.

Potatohead game.

Has anyone worked with McCann of Lucid or Abbey Rozenberg? If so, please

email me. I want to make sure that I pick the right person for an IEE that we

are doing for my son who is turning four. Thanks!

Sincerely,

Barbara

Abby Rozenberg was recommended to me by my SLP in the event that we needed to do

an IEE. She said she was the one that came to mind as being the one to go to

for apraxia (in terms of someone who did IEE's for my district). I didn't agree

with my son's IEP 2 weeks ago, and am still pondering asking for an IEE.

If you don't mind my asking, what district are you with?

You can email me too...
