Guest guest
allowed me to share this private conversation- but if anyone wants to be in touch with just email me at lisa@... Also does anyone have any experience with strokes and NV? Even if it's in the senior population although looking for experience in the pediatric population for a parent knows. ~~~~~~~~ Yes, please share it with the group!! It really is incredible. I honestly did not think we would be one of the lucky ones to see such drastic improvement, especially because Zoe was essentially nonverbal. It's all happened so fast I don't think I've even processed it yet. Zoe goes to a school that is especially for children with speech and language difficulties, and I just emailed my friends whose kids go there to tell them about our story. I just wanted them to know this product is out there and that it may help. I actually also gave them your email address just in case they have specific questions, I hope that's okay! (I also gave them the website). One of them, Whitney ___, has a 3 3/4 year old son named _____ who had two strokes either prenatally or just after his birth. Do you have any knowledge of anyone else under these circumstances that has used NV, or have any thoughts I can share with her? Thanks again! I will keep you updated as Zoe's progress continues. We just moved up to 3/4 of a scoop so who knows what more can happen!! ~~~first message from Hi ! Thanks so much for your help! I'm sure you don't remember me since you talk with so many people, but I've been wanting to update you for a while. I started my daughter Zoe on Nutriiveda in late September, using one scoop. At the time she was 3 1/2 years old and profoundly apraxic. She was only able to say vowel sounds and CVs, and had just started putting the final consonant on some of her single syllable words (which I was thrilled with!). She was definitely not putting two words together - in fact she could not even put two syllables together. So, fast forward to 4 months later. And....(drumroll).....she is saying 6 word sentences!!!!! I have a lot to thank you for - because I was actually going to stop using the NV because Zoe was getting awful diarrhea when she started. But I emailed you and you encouraged me not to quit - you said Zoe was de-toxing, that I should try cutting it down to 1/4 scoop. So I did, and the diarrhea stopped. One week later, Zoe opened up a book and counted up to 20, out of the blue (before she was only counting up to 10). She started using words that we had not recently used with her - words she was pulling up from her memory and able to say without help. Two weeks later she started putting two words together consistently. Then she shocked me by counting up to 40 (something no one had taught her). Less than 2 months after starting the NV, one night she had this little language explosion. In a span of 45 minutes, she started speaking in short phrases. We were having our first conversation! She would say something like " I want play game " and I would say " which one? " and she would say " this one " . After 3 months, she started regularly speaking in 6 word sentences. She is still really, really hard to understand and even I struggle a lot to understand her, but her articulation is improving. So basically we went from saying " hat " before starting NV to now saying " I want put hat on Mommy " . Or like this morning, she pointed to a light in the bathroom that was out and said, " uh-oh, that light is out. Will you fix it? " Of course it comes out sounding like " uh-oh, yah yite ih out. Wih fix ih? " But she's really trying. I can't even believe what has happened. Everyone is amazed. I think even Zoe is amazed. I can't wait to see what our future holds! Thank you, thank you, thank you for encouraging me to stick with it, and for telling others about this product. I really had no idea it would have this kind of effect on Zoe. I'm actually getting to know my little girl!!! That is priceless. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That's I would say the classic line for NV- it helps us finally get to know our child. So many of us say that!! (if you read the blog here you'll see it ends almost the same way " I really recommend the Nutriiveda. I am having a blast getting to " know " my daughter better. There's something in this stuff that's working. I'll post again later. Thanks!
