Hello, My son's doctor referred us to a developmental pediatrician today, partly for his speech issues and partly because she diagnosed him as failure to thrive. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a dev pedi in the Virginia, land or DC? PA is fine too if it's a really good doctor She mentioned Children's Hospital in DC, a practice in Fredericksburg that is based out of Richmond's Children's Hospital, and UVA as possibilities. Thanks, Melinda
Guest guest
Hi Melinda, Not sure how old your son is, but we saw Dr. Penny Glass at Children's in DC and were very happy w/her. She works at their Developmmental Clinic, which I think sees kids up until age 4 but I really can't remember for sure, so you might want to check w/them. In our experience, really all the drs we've seen from Children's have been excellent (we've also seen several at their Rockville and Fairfax locations, too). They've all been extremely thorough and helpful, so for me, it was often one of those things that came down to whoever could see us first and didn't have the longest waiting list. :-) Good luck, > > Hello, > > My son's doctor referred us to a developmental pediatrician today, partly for his speech issues and partly because she diagnosed him as failure to thrive.
