lychee (wolfberry) nuts?

Numerous Asian speciality grocers in the Seattle area sell dried Chinese Lychee

" berries " for about seven dollars a pound or so. If these are indeed the high

ORAC stuff, they are probably also available in similar stores across the U.S.

Who knows what pesticides etc may remain on them? I have not yet gone out and

bought any. They are even more freely available canned in heavy syrup. Still

not sure if this is the same nut (or berry?), it seems to have so many

different names.
