How I stopped Mr. " bats in his belfrey " : sorry folks that I didn't think of

this sooner; but after notifying (who I haven't heard back from yet,

BTW) and getting lots of wonderful help from a couple of our savvier members

w/regard to tech, I went back to basics:

On our site are features that the moderator can take advantage of such as:

1) approving all new members (Mr. Looney Tunes had e-mail addresses that

were often a give-away and I was bannin him after subscribing, but usually

he had sent 50 spams by then)

and if he should somehow got through that way, then:

2) approving all posts before they get to the board or into everyone's

mailbox

For the time being I'm using the " double lock- out " above. I hope when

things calm down, not to need both or perhaps either.

BTW apparently Mr Joker attached a porn link in our " bookmarks " section

which was pointed out to me on the main list by Al Pater. No doubt Al's

mentioning this brought us several new members :-))))))
