How many times per day should Nutriiveda be given?

Hi everyone!

We are working our way up to two scoops of Nutriiveda per day.  I was wondering,

how many times per day should those two scoops be given.  Should I give 1/2

scoop 4 times per day or 1 scoop twice per day or the two scoops all at once?

What is the most effective?

I also was reading some where that it is best if the kids drink plenty of

water/fluids.  How much fluids are recommended throughout the day?

Thanks so much!

Dana

Hi Dana !

We give NutriiVeda twice per day. So you can give one scoop twice a day. As for

the water, the easiest way to figure it out is to take the total weight of her

child, divide by two and whatever that amount is, is the amount in ounces he

should be drinking during the day. Don't forget some foods also have water

content in them.

All the best,

Demi

Hi Dana!

I know many of us think we need to work our way up -but NV is just food and if

your child isn't allergic to it which is highly unlikely then unless your doctor

has some reason otherwise I recommend just starting at the recommended dosage.

For most children I'd just divide the dosage needed daily in half and use twice

a day as NV is water soluble. Children from over a year to 18 need to use NV

with food as they need fat for growing brains but it is vitamin replacement as

the vitamins and other essential nutrients are all from food which is the purest

form of supplementation.

Adults could use 2 scoops either once or twice a day depending upon why they are

using it. Once a day is just a healthy vitamin and meal replacement. If adult

and using for therapeutic reasons for neurological as we are seeing in our

group, I would use the 4 scoops a day split into 2 scoops twice a day.

For seniors I'd split it into one scoop servings -4 to 6 scoops a day depending

upon their nutritional needs.

I just answered about the water that the amount of water needed on NV is the

same amount suggested daily when not on NV. The normal amount of liquid intake

can be figured out as the following -take

body weight and divide in half and that is the approximate amount of ounces

needed a day. Here's information on that as well as dosages from our FAQ page

http://pursuitofresearch.org/products/nutriiveda/frequently_asked_questions/

Let me know if you have other questions- and congratulations on the ultra wise

decision of starting NV -fasten your seat-belts, you're in for a dramatic

journey!!! And make sure you update us on what you see (and hear) in the next

few days and weeks!!!
