I hate to be sexist but the " snappish " behavior seems to be male-oriented

(so far). Maybe it's because of the few males who have pushed CR to the

limit. Certanly that would make a lot of sense (that those who are hungrier

would be more out of sorts). Low testosterone would change one's mood so it

computes.

I haven't been on any other lists so I can't compare. But the " snappish "

behavior on the main list and on meta are snappish enough for me!

Joe: it would be interesting to know how CR'd you are. Do you know? Are

you at an extreme end? Or moderate?

Joe: how many calories would be eating if you were eating ad lib? (Not that

we always know;I have to guess myself). If you're eating 30% less for

example, you're 30% Cr'd (which is about what I am).

Ok thanks. That sounds moderate. Sorry you're having mood problems. Do

you eat fish or take fish oil? Might help some.

My wife tells me my personality has changed since starting CRON

and snappishness is the best description she tells me. It's probably not a

thing easy to recognize in oneself (I certainly didn't) but when my wife

pointed out examples I had to agree. Count me in as someone who has turned

Snappish.

Francesca,

I am a moderate CRONer. 5' 9 " , currently at 162 pounds. I eat

arround 1800 calories a day. Once I get to my set weight (I am estimating

arround 155) I will consider going with less calories.

My wife has mentioned that I have been like this since the end of

last summer. She origionally thought it had to do with 911 since I work in

Manhatten but we have decided it's more likely the diet.

Francesca,

Very difficult to say. I am guessing 2500+ before I started the

CRON diet (1 year ago). Enough to keep me at 205 pounds while hitting the

gym 4-5 times a week. I guess that makes me arround 30% CRONed.
