Epigenics Through Diet Holds Promise For Health, Treatment For Autism, Apraxia

And Other Conditions

I've been wanting to write this for awhile -and writing it I came to a study

that I've quoted many times from the University of Pittsburgh that found:

" Neurology researchers have shown that feeding amino acids to brain-injured

animals restores their cognitive abilities and may set the stage for the first

effective treatment for cognitive impairments suffered by people with traumatic

brain injuries. We have shown in an animal model that dietary intervention can

restore a proper balance of neurochemicals in the injured part of the brain, and

simultaneously improves cognitive performance. "

" If the results in mice can be reproduced in people, patients with traumatic

brain injuries could receive the BCAAs in a drink. " ~ Akiva S. Cohen, Ph.D., a

neuroscientist at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

You know I never noticed those two words before...did you catch it...A DRINK?!!

They actually then say why getting these essential amino acids via foods are

better than other methods. Ha! We are so cutting edge on what we found with

NV. If you want to understand more about the power of epigenics and how diet

may be a real answer, or you just want to learn what epigenics is because I

believe it holds many answers for not just autism and apraxia and many of the

other disorders we talk about here but just about everything regarding health
