Guest guest
Here is a " fish oil 101 " from our apraxia.org page http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=115029735601 & topic=7401 Fish oils are essential fatty acids and there is no set dosage per weight. One full (not Jr) capsule of ProEFA is about equivalent to the dosage of EFAs approved to be added to infant formula. So I can tell you not to get the Jr and to get the regular. You can start at one capsule and conservatively go up to two capsules. Many of us found it best to raise the EPA a wee bit higher but you don't have to start there. The essential nutrients means the body needs them but can't produce them so need to consume them but in the case of essential fatty acids and essential amino acids are virtually lacking in children's diets today. Hope that helps and hope you don't mind I changed the subject name. And PS- I threw mine away long ago =====
