Was with the Apache nation for two years, and then transferred to Claremore Oklahoma and worked with the Cherokee at the Indian Hospitals. I have always had a passion for cancer research, so when I graduated nursing school in 1996, I went to work on the Oncology/hematology unit. I did not agree with the approach to treating cancer that is in place, and found the doctors very ignorant concerning alternative treatments. Most were not even interested in learning about alternative treatments and some were extremely agitated with the suggestion, except one. He was open minded and had more knowledge than his peers without the hostility, but he was not able to step out of his comfort zone. If they do not follow the established protocol for treating cancer, which we all know only includes - chemo, radiation and/or surgery, they could possibly risk losing their license. They have alot at stake. They are exclusively train by the pharmaceutical industry. The pharmaceutical companies fund the medical schools. Doctors only really know pharmaceuticals. They were only required to even have three hours of nutrition! I always laugh, when they say " Ask your doctor, before taking this supplement " or whatever it is....because they don't know! Some in their arrogance and ignorance will simply denounce it rather than just admit that they do not know. Anyway, I ended up leaving the Oncology unit, because it just did not sit well with my soul. The protocol does not even make sense! They attack and ravage the body rather than figure out how to work with the body to detox and rebuild the systems already in place, so the body can heal itself. Cancer is a multi-factoral disease process. We all have cancer cells in our bodies, but our immune system keeps them in check. So, when the immune system has declined to the point where it can no longer do its job (and the bodies detoxification systems is also part of our immune system)...we develop cancer. Cells are out of control. To give a person chemo makes no sense. Chemo , as you know, is incredibly toxic. Yes, it may kill off bad cells, but it kills off the rest of the good cells as well! I've often wondered if the pharmaceutical companies did not get the idea for chemo from Vit B17. Vitamin B17 kills off diseased, damaged cells without harming the good cells. But of course, that is a natural product that cannot be patented, and was vicously attacked and degraded by the pharmaceutical industry. Their inferior attempt at doing what B17 does so much more effectively & safely by working with the bodies own natural intelligence......is chemo. That of course is just my opinion. I had ethical problems when asked to go hang a bag or bottle of chemo, knowing what I know and believing what I believe. So, I had to leave my position there and I went clear to the other end of the spectrum and worked in the nursery, where life was just entering our world! But I continued to study, read and research in my free time. I know this is getting long, sorry...but you've got me on my soapbox.....Have to get ready for work....so will finish this letter when i get back and answer the rest of your questions Frann......Have a great day...............Belinda __________________________________________________
Guest guest
_____ I am having such a difficult time finding a school that I feel good about for my daughter April who is turning six and will be transitioning from Pre-k to K-1. Can anyone recommend any schools??? April is diagnosed with Expressive speech disorder/Apraxia and Sensory Integration Disorder. Parkside, Gillen Brewer, Learning Spring, Ideal, Reece, Gateway, The Cooke School, The Children's Academy, P.S. 89, and Independence School (battery park city) are schools that I have visited. We live in Battery Park City, but if the school we found is not downtown we would get busing mandate on her IEP if needed. The board of ed has recommended district 75 and a class ratio of 6:1:1 this is, so inappropriate. April is thriving at Central Park Early Learning school in a class ratio of 12:1:2. They should be offering a less restrictive environment and it seems to me like this is extremely restrictive. I am just so thoroughly disgusted with them. I would appreciate any names of schools, if you know of any that may work for April. Thank you, Aida Accomando
Guest guest
Hi and Welcome, It is so good to see a new member that dose not need help and is doing great. But it's is to soon to tell so stay with us. I don't know anything about Myomin to control Estradiol E2 levels and for men this is the bad guy. Keep us posted how your doing on this. Most of us use Arimidex to control E2 levels 1/4 of a pill say every 2 to 3 days ..25 mgs or Indolplex/DIM one tablet / day to keep E2 levels down. I was on TRT 13 yrs when I started having ED and Prostate problems it took me 10 more yrs to figure this out. My E2 levels were very high from being on TRT. As I got my levels down to about 20 pg/ml the first thing I got back was my involuntary nocturnal erections that appear during REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep. I had not had them in over 20 yrs. then my ED stopped and I could have sex with my wife not needing a penis pump and ring to pump it up and the ring to keep it up. My prostate went down in time keeping my E2 levels in the sweet spot and in time my libido came back. As a rule I tell men they need to keep doing labs say every 8 weeks until they are leveled and feeling great. Some men start on creams and gels and feel better the first 2 weeks then fall back if this happens to your call your Dr. do labs you can end up lower or as low as you started. Your brain sees the T in your blood and stops sending the LH and FSH message to your testis and this stop working. So you can end up with levels that only the creams or gels are doing and this might not be enough. When your first start your levels from your testis are still there plus the levels from the creams or gels but when your testis stop you can fall back if the dose is not strong enough. So as a rule I tell men to get there Total T levels up into the upper 1.3 of there labs range and to keep there Estradiol E2 levels down to about 20 pg/ml. Here is a dam good link for you to read about this so your can learn what going on with you and when you see your Dr. you will know about most of what he is talking about. your very lucky to have this Dr. he sounds like he knows all about TRT and what he is doing. As for your Growth Hormone levels get your Thyroid, Cortisol and Testosterone levels good then retest your Growth Hormone levels you might find they will come back up. Ask your Dr. if we can add his name and number to the Database Section here for Physician Reference. We need all the names of good Dr.'s out there. Guest guest
That's a great story ! I'm 53 also and I have been on test therapy for four years. It makes a huge difference indeed. Sounds you have a good doctor too. Warren > > I just turned 53 and recently had some tests done to find out why I always felt so tired even though I was eating well and exercising. To my surprise my testosterone came back at 6.3 out of a range of 20.0 to 200.0 - DHEA was 62 out of a range of 100 to 2000. Growth Hormone came out very low as well. My doctor immediately put me on a bunch of pills to block estrogen (Myomin), pituitary support, GLA, Vicacon (anti viral),Cortisol Manager(calm adrenals), Pregnenolone, and Testosterone 75mg PLO cream with DHEA 50mg which I apply as a gel once everyday in the morning. > Since starting on this regime about 2 weeks ago, I have lost weight, don't have to use my glasses to read script on the TV screen, hand writing is MUCH better since I can control the pen now and probably most importantly I have so much more energy that I can barely believe it. > Getting myself tested was the most important thing I did.
