Guest guest
Hi All - Been on Nutriiveda about three days now. We've got constipation:( Working on that, giving lots of water and extra magnesium, epsom salt baths. He's urinating a lot, so can't be that dehydrated, right? But another question I have regarding the product is the salicylate content. Is it high? We have historically had a big problem in this area. If one thing I'm giving has a high content, then I have to really cut back on other sources. I've found it's a " load " issue, if the load gets too high, then you have drastically cut until the load lowers. This is the " cheryl " theory, no doctor ever confirmed this, so feel free to enlightened me:) So if the product has salicylates, then I have to cut back on salicylates elsewhere in the diet. High Salicylates leads to wild behavior and stimming, constipation. Small stuff:) The language that he has is stable, no apparent regression, so happy about that. Also started the ProEFA and ProEPA 2:1. How often do you give this? Hoping I'll have great results to report when I get the constipation moved out. Good to be here learning more. Guest guest
Hi Cheryl,  If he is peeing alot I would not think he is dehydrated. Watch out with the Magnesium. I know when I gave some I noticed she was not trying to speak as much. It seemed like the magnesium was making the NV less effective. When I stopped the magnesium she started to try to say new words again.  I don't know much about salicylate content. Maybe or someone else from the group can comment on this.  If you are also giving ProEFA and ProEPA 2:1, you only have to give it once per day.  Welcome to the group !! There are lots of great parents here.  Hope you start seeing great surges soon !! Demi td23@...
