Guest guest
,Sorry but I have a question. Which test should I order? The iodine loading test or the spot and iodine loading test together. It was explained to me that the spot tests your first morning urine before you take the iodine to see what your natural levels are and then the loading test looks at your saturation level. On Oct 29, 2008, at 8:38 AM, ladybugsandbees wrote:Welcome to the group. I can understand your confusion. If I were in your shoes I would not do the Atomidine. I would take Lugols formula in either liquid or pill form (Iodoral). With a changing therm you will need to hit with a heavy gun. The atomidine is not strong enough to do what you need. I recommend that you do the loading test (no doctor needed to order - references are in the files). Don't wait to do this. Dr. Abraham has said that it takes 3-6 mos of 50 mgs to get to full body saturation provided all is working right and you are not too toxic. As for bromide exposure. It doesn't just come from food. It is found in carpet, furniture, clothing, computers, cell phones, cars and more. Check out www.breastcancerchoices.org for more info. Did you see my mom's therms that I posted Sunday ( I believe). She improved greatly with 50 mgs and supporting nutrients.I don't think it is your diet unless you are eating gluten and that may cause problems as well. I am reading a book called dangerous grains and it is linked to many diseases. We are testing my son for Celiac / intolerance and in two weeks my entire family is going GF (after the WAP national conference).Hope that helps! Guest guest
The spot test tells you how much iodine you have been consuming. The loading tells you body saturation. I have only ever done the loading. If you can order the bromide I would add that to your test as that is a good indicator of toxicity and what you may be in for in the detox process. Guest guest
Bridget You are NOT 'your' disease!!! Please think of your situation in another mode. Your body is not functioning either optimally or the way your would like it to operate. You have not shared with us WHY you have asked a neurologist to prescribe low dose Naltrexone for you. That information is important to provide some suggestions to you. If you do not eat a diet of real food.... that's where to start. No processed or prepared foods. Lots of veggies and quality proteins and brain/heart supporting fats. If you do not know how to cook.......... learn. It's easy and it's fun. mjh Posted by: "bridgetparsons75" bridget.parsons@... bridgetparsons75 Tue Mar 24, 2009 11:17 pm (PDT) Surprise,Surprise. My neurologist is on board with trying me on ldn.I actually believe that I am at a crossroads in my life.I am going down a road I have never travelled before.I would so appreciate some input regarding the other meds I am taking. From all the posts I have read from your wonderful blog the general synopsis seems to go in favor of natural alternatives.I have no clue where to even begin with this process. Please help.I want to introduce LDN under the optimal body conditions to ensure the most positive results. Guest guest
Hi Bridget,RE: For the first time in over 15 years I feel like I am part of my disease and its outcome.I understand where you're coming from when you say this. It's similar to what J Fox said in his book "Lucky Man" about having Parkinson's disease. Although [if I remember right] I think he said it more like Parkinson's was a part of him...he owned it....he described it as HIS. Very good book BTW.I'm glad that your doctor is helping you with LDN. And whatever disease you have.... to be optimally prepared would be to have good nutrition -- which can include supplements. Good sleep --- however you can get it. And a good attitude -- be patient and consistent with your program. Best wishes,Jann
Guest guest
> Dana, we are about to start ALA. My son is 3.5, and weighs 36 lbs. His copper levels are fine and we have milk thistle ready to go. I have read your website on yeast. Very nice.....well done. We are planning to see how he does just with his regular probiotics and digestive enzymens. If we see more yeast signs.....what would you recommend we go with, to start off.....at a small dose? I started with GSE. I think if I had to do it again, I would have started with biotin. >>I know there are alot of options. What would you recommend, and when would you give it to him? Before an ALA dose, after, same time? I gave anti-fungals at the same time as the ALA. Dana

I am waiting on mine, From: bintwadidah74 <alemfadel@...>Subject: getting started Date: Wednesday, April 22, 2009, 7:03 PM Hello Losers!!!I was so happy to receive my HCG today. It arrived this morning. I ordered it April 15th. I started loading and I tell you just like everyone says. It isn't easy. So far my caloric intake is 3694 and I am at 250 grams. I choose high fats like avocados and coconut oil on everything ,lots of heavy cream in my tea etc. Did you guys know that Marie Calendars Pies have 1000 calories and 60 grams of fat, and I don't mean the large ones. The regular small pies. so that will be my dinner for tonight and tomorrow. and that 3964 number is already adding the pot pie. I do want to go to 300 grams so I am snacking on cashew and raisins. But I am on the road with you guys finally and I am very happy and excited.my daily bloghttp://loosingwithh cg.blogspot. com/

Guest guest
I saw my MD this week and talked to her about the Hcg protocol. She seemed interested and then she showed me something that was bothersome. She said that I probably eat 2500-3000 cals a day now 3500 calories = 1 lb She said that on a 500 cal a day diet people will lose fast just from the diet alone. She said if I cut out 2000 cals a day X 7 days that is 14,000 calories down = 4 lbs a week WITHOUT THE HCG She did say that the test was do people keep the wgt off as anyone can lose. Guest guest
Hello,I have 3 friends who have the done the hcg diet over 1 1/2 yrs ago and have kept it off. They eat healthy during the week and always have one "eat all you want day" Yes anyone could lose weight eating only 500 calories a day....but without hcg how many could actually do it and function. I personally do still have some hunger, but not starving...and I have energy without the hcg and only 500 calories you could not function.... Guest guest
i would ask your dr. how you can go a week with eating just 500 cal a day and staying with it. without the hcg you would be starving and have a hard time staying with it, let a lone feeling okay. the hcg releases fat from your body. your skin will at first feel greasy, very odd. Guest guest
Dear Vunbienvang2001, For starters you are here! You have been sent many emails automatically. Read Getting Started. Then purchase a study guide book or two. See the books and study guide recommendations. Read and study chapter topic by chapter topic. Use the internet to supplement/look up what you do not understand. After each one that you feel you have studied the best you can ask a question on this site via post. I or a TEXPERT will answer it. Then when you aer ready take as many quizzes or tests on this site, and from the links provided or pay PTCB or ICPT to take a practice exam. Then take your real exam after making the appointment. Hope this helps, Jeanetta Mastron > > I'm so new at this. Guest guest
Hi, I am new to the group and sorting out how to get started. my almost 4 ds was in BT3 or EI from 1-3, and then transfered to our PS district. he was receiving SL services weekly for 9 months, I asked for an evaluation to determine the nature of his difficulties, and the school found moderate verbal apraxia and a grammar based expressive langauge disability. Should I get a good SL eval done privately who can work with the district to provide the right therapy? How much therapy is needed? He is actaully very verbal, btw. What kind of therapy shoudl be used? What kind of training should the provider have? Can an asst provide therapy? Appreicate any help in getting started.
