Guest guest
Hi everyone - My 7yr old son has global dyspraxia, among many many other things. Well, recently he had a spinal tap...as we still don't have an " umbrella diagnosis " for all of issues. The spinal tap revealed cerebral folate deficiency... meaning the folate level in his spinal fluid is low, however the level in his blood is normal. Therefore, he will be on supplements forever...BUT...there is a chance that some of his issues can be improved with his levels brought back to normal. Has anyone ever heard of this? Or, are there any other parents out there that have children with this particular deficiency? Thanks!
