kidding) i am a real airhead (lyme has only made it

worse) and this sounds so like something i would do

i tell my family it's because i'm so smart i can't

worry about mundane details like getting in the right

car or making sure my shirt isn't inside out etc. etc.

You know it I earned that name! We have to much going on in our brains only the

important thing have room in there! And the shirt thing, Ben there done that.

Wore my shirt inside out all day. I was visiting my mom and we were out alot!

When I got back my daughter takes one look at me and says " Please tell me you

tryed on some clothes. " uhh nooo why. And she tells me my shirt is on inside

out. I said oh well I may as well leave it that way now! BK

With 4 teens in the house, I can tell you I am the

dumbest, most embarassing person in the whole world.

And you know what, I don't care. They are good kids

but it's a difficult time in all of our lives. Good

luck to all with teens. We need it.

Besides getting in the car and every time without fail I have to ask the

children " and now where are we going " LOL. First I always here OH MOM! When they

inform me, I then ask and what are we going there for?

Sharon try to remember that the teens of today are not much differant then we all was back then. I know that I thought my parents were so out of date & out of it back then. By the time was in my late 20's I thought they was smart & valued their openion. Now in my late 40's I miss their insight.

Oh my goodness! I am so surprised I used to do that all the time. I would pull

over ask my kids where are we going only to hear " MOM The store " oh ok i

reply. Then pull over again ahhh what store. " mom the grocery store " Then when

I would get there I would ask them what are we here for! Of course then came the

hard part......How in the heck do I find my way home! : (

Thank you so much! I definately am improving. And let me tell you My sense of

humor is well developed! It has even gotten better with this illness.And i can

tell you that is one thing that want go into remission! I am hopeless! Much to

That's cool that you guys went to a support meeting. It should help with sorting things out and very well may even help reduce some of the stress. I wish I could go to my local support meeting but it is during my work hours. Oh well, maybe in the future.

I have 2 teens and a wish she was one at 12 already..And Drs wonder why mothers want Valium..CAUSE WE DESERVE IT AND NEED IT!!!

Hey I'm on Valium now but a big part of that is I am a nervous person (that's why it's hard for me to sit still) and the other is I'm married to Floyd with a 12 yr. old!!!!! Yep I deserve them...LOL

Some times over the years as we raised our kids, we wished we had dogs instead. Dogs are always gratefull when you do things for them. Kids just asked for more. Don't get me wrong I do love our two kids. But there was a lot of times we both needed Valium. Matter of fact For a while I was taking Valium.

I went to a scrapbook party hosted by my 12 year old grandaughter yesterday. Bill ( hubby ) called up can I come pick you up. I'd gone with my daughter in law up to where they live in the mountains. He bought a new truck. I have come to realize he thinks being in debt is the American Way...... I am in my 18th nervous breakdown. Valium is sounding really good right now. . Does anyone realize what trucks cost these days He got one with 4 doors and a back seat and all that stuffs..... Yes!!!!!! I know!!!!!! Much closer to the $40,000.00 mark And he tries to justify this saying the Ford Power Stroke was way over $50,000.00 THUD!!!!!!!!! I can't comprehend what happened here. Just between you and me I think he has lost his mind. I don't know what happened. I mean the last I knew he thought $22,000.00 was to much for a used Eddie Bauer edition SUV thing. Now hes gone and done this........ Now I won't tolerate plastic around me. I am allergic to credit cards. I am whats that word he calls me a frugaler!!!!!! I agonize over $25.00 for a blouse and pay cash but most things just stay in the store. I was just starting to breathe when he told me what the payment was gonna be. Can payments really be that much? Isn't there some kind of law or something that they can't go that high.....Oh man I am ready to be ill again.... We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary in june to this time we have. Which explains the 34 years. I am more stunned than I can even have the words to express.
