Guest guest
My daughter created her own recipe with NV again! The last time, she added sprinkles to the peanut butter balls. Now she created another winner (for her at least). I was making a milkshake for my older son and was going to mix some NV into ice cream for her. She saw the milk out asked for some, so I gave her half of a small glass. I put the ice cream in a bowl and mixed the NV into it. I was working on the milkshake and when I turned around, she had dumped her milk into the ice cream. Not wanting to waste the NV, I mixed the milk into the ice cream and got a really milky milk shake. She loved it! For some reason, she did not like it straight in the ice cream, and didn't really like it in straight milk. So now I just take some of my son's shake, add a lot of milk, then give her that. She drinks it without a problem, and finishes it all. Maybe she has a future as a recipe creator or a chef. :-) Here's the actual recipe: S's Milky Milkshake (blender version) 1 small scoop ice cream 1 scoop NV 1 cup milk Mix ice cream and milk in blender. Poor in cup and add NV. (to avoid waste, I don't put NV in the blender) Let set for 1-2 minutes so texture is smooth. S's Milky Milkshake 1 small scoop ice cream 1 scoop NV 1 cup milk In a plastic cup, mix ice cream and NV together until smooth. Add milk. Stir until mixture is an even consistency. Let stand 1-2 minutes so texture is smooth. I'm not sure, but I think the consistency of straight NV is what she doesn't like. I also found that adding a little water to the PB Balls (like 1 tablespoon) makes those easier to work with. B.
