Bad side effect with Trileptal form my non-verbal 9 year old autistic son

I am new here and need help for my autistic son

he head banging has increased

he started since June of 2010..They put him on Abilify

started back in June from 4 mg to increased by middle of Feb. 2011 to 12 mg and

made him worst

so we took him off for 2 weeks without any meds to do a base line

he was screaming and crying too after increase and without the medication

he is 9 and non-verbal can't tell us were the pain is

so 2 weeks ago the psychiatrist put him on Trileptal started from 300 mg a day

to last wed to 900 mg after increase of 900 mg he was still in pain and banging

head and he develop such a bad rash starting on top of his hands like patches of

burn and on his cheeks his pediatrician to

told me to take him off he has been without any meds since last Thursday and

been waking up at the same time around 4 am cry, screaming and some head banging

I been rubbing his back to comfront him and very little talking it agitates him

the noise
