Guest guest
Ian, the pictures are great. You actually look much deeper and intellectual and soft. You are doing a great job.

I would say, from your photos, you look at least 20 years younger with your new svelte figure and thinner face. A hearty Congratulations!! If you don't mind I am forwarding your photos to my slightly pudgy husband who I am always nagging to become one of us. He has the desire but not the discipline ( but I forever hope that someday it will rub off like osmosis)
Guest guest
>Ian: not only do you feel like a million dollars, >you LOOK like a million dollars. ... Wow <blush>, thanks Francesca and for the kind words!! So maybe the looks I suddenly seem to be getting from women are not all in my head. Maybe now's the time to break out of my shell! It wasn't until just a couple days ago after I put the before images next to the after images that it struck me what had happened. I mean I knew I lost weight, but one's concept of " self " tends to slowly adjust as you change such that there seems to be a continuous self image despite real changes. The before and after images shattered that illusion. I think my face is not just less fat, but younger. The images from my videocam are not sufficiently hi-resolution to show skin texture. I know my facial-skin texture has never been clearer and smoother. I'm probably just at the right age, late 30s, to really notice a CR effect. Were I much younger, youth added to youth is not so detectable; and if I were older, CR is less able to overcome the impact of aging. But I still wish I'd started CR when I first heard about it, in my mid 20s. I just thought it sounded like torture. It's wonderful to find it's not, in fact, CR means more life now! http://IanGoddard.net " To lengthen thy life, lessen thy meals.
