Ours is complaining, but just in the morning, little we can do as it has to be given on an empty stomach. Do you give it with any yeast fighters, like Candidase? Viral " die off " really increases yeast for my son. Adding biotin was very helpful in keeping the yeast away, or at least down to a more manageable level. Guest guest
Thanks, . Dana, We have not, as of yet, given it with Candex, but we are going to have to start as it kicked up a little yeast. But dosing both the Candex and the Virastop on an empty stomach would be quite the balancing act, as the Virastop is dosed 3 x a day, the Candex, 2x a day, not to mention the Armour 1x a day, ALL on an empty stomach, geesh!!!! I read on a thyroid list to put the Armour under the tongue for better absorption -- will she do that? The taste has kind of grown on me, it's vaguely sweetish. I gave Candex and VS at the same time. Guest guest
Armour has maldextrone (sp?), so is sweet, but they talk on that board about leaving it there for an hour, and even I don't have that kind of patience. So we give it to her and she chews it up. Someone else who is giving their small child Armour, gave it whole and it raised his levels nicely, so think that whole sublingual thing with the Armour or the B12 is not so straightforward. For years it was reported that B12 was best absorbed sublingually and Binstock posted a study recently that reported oral and sublingual dosing of B12 were identical in terms of absorption. Is just in the morning, by the time you give three things that have to be given on an empty stomach it becomes kind of a joke, how much can you give and still say its on an empty stomach? Will be better when we are done with the Virastop, can't wait. I think the intention is that there isn't any food for the enzymes to work on, so they'll still be around to work on yeast and viruses. I don't think they're going to digest each other. Guest guest
Well, helpful to talk with someone else that has taken the Armour. Will try having her put it between her cheek and gum, like chewing tobacco? Sorry, strange mood tonight. I give both Virastop and Candidase 3x per day, together. It is more difficult to give things on an empty stomach tho. Dana
