Suz: in these days of guar pudding, I find that satisfies me. However my

husband won't touch the stuff (, are you listening?).

Is this a pill or what? I'm thinking it might help my husband.

Also, the oils and corn syrup solids are stuff that a lot of cronies won't

touch. (Corn syrup is just another form of sugar). Surprised it tastes so

bad (that you have to hold your nose) with corn syrup in it.

I've tried Satietrol and it does work extremely well to control appetite.

My biggest problems with it are that if I take a full packet it makes me

feel so full I feel sick, and the stuff tastes nasty. They offer both a 90

cal powder you take an hour before eating or a 250-cal meal replacement.

Robin: from what you say and from Suz says this is not going to work for my

husband who won't even try (what I consider) delicious gura puddings.

Oh well, perhaps that CR pill will be available soon.

I just had one more thing to add -- I took this a few times, then quit when

I got a cold sore after taking it once. I very rarely get cold sores

anymore, so it seemed like too much of a coincidence. I suspect what

happened was the Satietrol upset my stomach, which caused a cold sore (an

upset stomach will sometimes do that).

However, I could see how Satietrol could be an effective tool for someone

really battling with hunger and overeating. It definitely curbed my desire

to eat.

When I ordered Satietrol (6 mos to a year ago) I got it throught iHerb

(www.iherb.com) at a great price -- they were quick, with good customer

service. I would recommend them.
