Many thanks, Al. You're the BEST. This article gave me one of those learning moments that school teachers call "the big AHA!" Anybody who wants to understand why leptin may be important in eating behaviors should read this. Being a skeptic by nature, I try very few products or remedies and always wonder if I'm getting results or a placebo effect when something seems to actually work for me. After reading this paper, I must believe that IF Satietrol is in fact affecting CCK, then the results I'm getting are surely beyond imaginary...although I'm sure there's some of that going on too. (When I use the Satietrol, I seem to get a "feeling" from my body that says "thanks, I needed that.") If you have time to visit their website at www.hungeroff.com (don't miss the "professional" button therein) perhaps you can ascertain if the ingredients in Satietrol would actually have anything to do with affecting CCK, or if it's just a bunch of supposition and marketing hoopla. I also wanted to mention that the Satietrol is handling my rather intense cravings for starchy foods in particular. Again, I wonder if there's anything to it, or if I'm delusional (God forbid...lol.)
