Pete: If that is truly your first goal, then the best way to start CR is

NOT to worry about hunger or calories (at least in the beginning). Just

start eating in a healthy way! Most find that the weight just starts

dropping off anyway.

Walford states that eating healthy and without CR will result in a much

healthier life (but without the life extension). For me personally, the

life extension is secondary; living out my life without chronic disease is

primary.
