Hi! -

Andy is right.

Also it is very good to get the thyroid antibodies (TPOAb and TGAb) tested

as well. A surprising frequency of autoimmune thyroid is showing up in us

and our children. I have seen an abstract that says that mercury can induce

thyroid antibodies so it makes sense to me why so many cases of Hashimoto's

are turning up, now. (Remember Andy says not to believe anything about a

study until you check it out in its entirety, though?)

I highly recommend that you post these labs/ranges on NaturalThyroidHormones

at groups dot com. The folks on that list have helped me save my own

and my DD's health. Armour Natural Thyroid and adrenal support have made an

unquestionable difference for us.

BTW, your child's labs look hypothyroid to me.

HTH,

The Free T3 is what you want tested. That is the active thyroid hormone that

sets the body's rhythm.

Not all kids have thyroid problems. Some might have adrenals problems that

create similar symptoms, because these glands work together.
