Hi Francesca,

There is a long article that is documented in Mercola's site listing the

dangers of too much tea and fluoride consumption.

http://www.mercola.com/2000/sept/10/green_tea_fluoride_thyroid.htm

Also I remember that there was a great deal of talk in the main group about

fluoride and osteoporosis. And tea has a lot of fluoride! I am now " washing "

mine as the Chinese often do- 20 seconds in 85% water to leech the caffeine

out as well as hopefully some fluoride. Throw the liquid out, and add new

water to make a second brew. Many Chinese think the second cup is better

anyway. Who knows if it works? Anyway, I'm cutting back- and it's really

tough as green tea is a passion and in my recent past considered to be an

innocent one.

Saw the doctor and we are doing more tests of bone formation/breakdown,

Vitamin D levels (I take the prolongevity D3 1000 almost every day...) and a

few other goodies. He mentioned Forteo, but thought it would be only for

severely osteoporitic victims. I can check that out in Holland where I think

it is now approved and on the market. That is supposed to actually rebuild

bones with a once-a-week injection!

Thanks and best wishes to all

MM
