Guest guest
A few days ago, I posted asking if anyone was interested in a " buddy " type system (so far no takers). We have all kinds of interesting features that supplies us with to aid in such endeavors. For example, there's a " chat " feature in the left hand column of the home page. There's also a calendar feature where " meetings " could be set up with " reminders " going out to group members to remember to meet (in the chat room for example). So far we haven't used these features, but they might come in handy if for example anyone is having trouble sticking to CR and needs support from other members. Ideas, comments, suggestions are welcomed.
Guest guest
Hello Francesca, The chat feature would be nice. I spend so much time each evening reading messages here and on the main list and I wonder if everyone else doesn't also feel swamped with mail. Plus there are several other web site that I cruise (can't surf) that also fill my mailbox. And though I would love to chat, I don't know that I could devote much time to it. It would be neat though to go into private real- time chat with someone over a particular message thread for follow up without boring everyone else. But then....haven't read anything boring on this list yet. I guess somewhere in this reply is an answer to your question. If you find it, let me know what my answer was because I even got myself confused. I'm going to bed.... Guest guest
Thank you Francesca. You are a very giving person! A buddy system might be a way for people to get the support they need when they need it. A chat room meeting could also be a good support system with more expertise available. However, everyone is so responsive to any postings that I'm not sure that we don't have this kind of a support group already. I think the advantage of the previously mentioned is that it is real time response.
