Guest guest
Hi all, I haven't posted here in a very long time. I hope all is well with everyone. I am on a bare beginning again of a CRON plan. I'm not having a problem with hunger but with headaches. I believe this to be a blood sugar problem. Any suggestions on what to eat during regular meals to minimize this? Apparently I need to do is eat small amounts more frequently. What can I eat that is CRON-ish in a quick, easy carry- along form to stop such a headache until I can get home and eat a meal? Any ideas would be appreciated. peace, trustinit
Guest guest
It may also be due to tension as your body adapts to your new discipline. Happens to me a lot when I set a goal and finally committ to it. Usually I notice that when I'm hyper-focussed on a goal I sometimes 'forget' to breath. Actually what happens is my breathing becomes shallow as my abdomen tightens up to prepare for my new challenge. If you notice that your breathing is shallow, you might want to try deep relaxing breathing. It relieves tension and will help oxygenate your brain. Also check your water intake. -Matt > Hi all, I haven't posted here in a very long time. I hope all is well > with everyone. > > I am on a bare beginning again of a CRON plan. Guest guest
Thanks to all who responded. I think I've found my headaches to be a reaction from food allergies. I read somewhere to cut back in red wine (I don't drink anyway), chocolate (gone a week ago, a big deal for a chocoholic and sugar addict), but I think the clincher was eliminating hard cheeses. No headaches! *wooohooo* peace, trustinit Message: 4 Date: Mon, 6 May 2002 21:18:54 -0500 From: " Hipp " <@...> Subject: Re: headaches I've battled headaches also. And it is hard to accomplish CRON or anything else when doing so. Here's a few things I've learned: - Cut way back on the sugar and empty carbs - Eliminate aspartame __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Good morning, Bodie: This sounds like my wife prior to 1976. Continuous headache 24/7. Grouchier than @#%*, too. Then, a young Ear, Nose, and Throat Doctor at Sheridan, Wyoming, recognized something in the tone of her voice and put her on progesterone shots. She was low in progesterone. At the time, there wasn't supposed to be any way to test for progesterone. I would think there are ways now. Once we got her built-up her headaches stopped and she seldom has one now. Her body seems to build it's own. In regards to the Imitrex, if it contains a narcotic it won't work with LDN. Your Pharmacist should be able to tell you if it does or not.
