Guest guest
I double both ALA and DMSA if I use both. I am not sure what " working it out " means... Are you asking about the math behind the reason? If yes, then let's say your dose is 10mg of ALA (or whatever chelator you use). You start by taking a double dose - 20mg; after 3 hours you will have 10 mg left in your system. Take a dose and now you will have 20 mg in your system. After another 3 hours you will have 10 mg left in your system. Take another dose and you will have 20 mg... and so on. So the levels oscillate between 10 -> 20 mg. If you start by taking one dose, the math would be like this: 10 mg - after 3 hours -> 5 mg in your system take another dose 5 + 10 = 15 mg - after 3 hours -> 7.5 mg in your system take another dose 7.5 + 10 = 17.5 mg - after 3 hours -> 8.75 mg in your system take another dose 8.75 + 10 = 18.75 mg - after 3 hours -> 9.37 mg in your system take another dose 9.37 + 10 = 19.37 mg - after 3 hours -> 9.68 mg in your system take another dose 9.68 + 10 = 19.68 mg - after 3 hours -> 9.84 mg in your system take another dose 9.84 + 10 = 19.84 mg - after 3 hours -> 9.92 mg in your system So it would take about 3-4 doses until the levels " stabilize " and oscillate between 10 -> 20 mg with every dose. Was this what you were asking for? Guest guest
Yes, Valentina, this is exactly what I was asking for. Thank you! René > Was this what you were asking for? > > > Valentina
Guest guest
Valentia, Thank you for that analysis ! I glanced at this topic a while back and was thinking it over and this is exactly what I came up with in my mind. Your explanation makes it very clear. I will now start doing the same thing. Guest guest
This is very interesting. Thank you for bringing this up. It does seem like a nice way to keep the levels as steady as possible in the body. Beti > > I double both ALA and DMSA if I use both. > I am not sure what " working it out " means...
