I agree that the Tanita is most useful for relative measurements.

For example, tracking body fat loss over a period of weeks or

months. In that regard I think it is very accurate. My bf% swings

about 5% from morning to night (lowest at night).

Taking advantage of this, I use the Tanita to monitor my hydration

level. If my bf% is abnormally high, I know I've become dehydrated.
