Guest guest
Now that we have over 500 members, list traffic is way up. In order to keep the list useful, please try to remember the following netiquette suggestions: 1.THANKING PEOPLE OR OTHER MESSAGES TO ONE OTHER PERSON Please stop and think before you send a message to the list that will not be of interest to many or most members. For example, if you want to thank someone because you asked for info and received it on the list. Thank them off list rather than send the thank you to the entire list. If the information is of a huge benefit (Suzi's Checklist for example - a huge effort benefitting so many),then perhaps a special thank you round of cyber applause is called for. But for info to just to one individual, an off list thanks suffices. 2. NEWBIE QUESTIONS If you have lots of questions because you're new, please " save them up " and ask several in one post rather than send many posts each one with a new question. 3. OFF TOPIC BANTER Off topic subjects and joking around are fun for all and keep the list friendly and fun to read. However it can get out of hand. A couple of these now and then are fine. When they start " taking over " the list, it's time to get back on track. CHANGING YOUR E-MAIL OPTIONS Every so often someone complains about receiving too much mail from the group. However there are three different options available: You can receive: 1) individual e-mails 2) one daily digest 3) no e-mail at all. The people who don't get any e-mail can read the list at their leisure by going to the website. You can change your option by going to the home page at: / Just click on " Edit my membership " in the upper right hand corner. Then, give it a day or two to change. is a busy place and the change sometimes has a " lag " effect. Thank you all in advance.
