Jam: looks like you're gonna need cooking lessons too!! Garlic is best

eaten in moderation such as a chopped clove sauteed or steamed in other

dishes for flavor. Use it with your kale for example to give it some zip.

Or in any tomato sauce type recipes. (Although a couple of cloves zapped for

30 sec in the microwave aborts a cold, I've found)'

As for eating tofu everyday, use variety and vary your proteins. Use FF

yogurt or skim milk in your smoothies sometimes. Limit your intake of soy

just in case there's something to that soy/dementia Hawaiisn (one study only

- and not confirmed) study mentioned by Walford. Moderation and Variety

(although it sounds like you're not the moderate type :-))

You are so funny! Use the garlic for veggies to add flavor or try roasting the cloves for a wonderful treat. Put 8 or 10 cloves in tin foil along with some olive oil, salt and pepper. Roast in the oven at 375 for oh...maybe 30 minutes or until soft and just starting to brown. This is roasted garlic and it's flavor is softened a little compared to raw garlic and it can be spread on healthy cracker or bread and eaten as is. This is going to be so much fun for you. PS clean hands after handling garlic by using soap and rubbing on stainless steel sink or other metal material...sounds crazy but gets rid of the smell. Regarding breath, make sure everyone you will be near also eats the wonderful garlic and or use "Breath Assures" or like product. Have fun! Dave

Ok, I've just bought these big clumps of garlic. I think this was one of the things mentioned as far as steaming. Exactly how do I prepare these things? How much should I eat a day? Won't I start to smell like the movie set of a mob flick?

Steamed garlic and baked garlic causes more gas than raw garlic. Trust me on

this. I crush the cloves, add some very nice olive oil, and dip [veggies]

into it. You can add a few sprigs of thyme or rosemary. Pretty, healthy,

delicious.
