They say that people would have to reduce their calories by about 30% from 2,500 to 1750 and they claim that's too hard for most people. On a related subject NBC's Dateline had a show about dieting last night and Stone ended the segment with this statement: " Preliminary results of studies done at the National Institute on Aging show that people who eat low calorie diets may live longer.
