Guest guest
Thanks Dana for your thorough answers, what I am seeing with my son indeed sounds like viruses coming out. He has been back on OLE and his brain is getting clearer day after day. His words are clearer and he understands so much more!! I am loving the wonderful gains and he keeps improving every day!!! This is amazing! Now finally my husband has noticed the changes in him also and I am able to get him more on board with biomed. Can't ask for more support, can I?? Thanks so much again, to you Dana, and to everybody else who wrote back to me! danasview <danasview@...> wrote: > Saturday gave my son about 50 mg OLE three times a day, in addition to the upped yeast support stuff (probiotics, Candease, GSE, no-fenol) > > EXCELLENT gains, in every way.... Increasing the dose caused improvements for my son also. >>BUT new stimming began. Better stimming, if you can call it that way. Instead of making impossible towers all the time (and nobody is allowed to touch them or take them down, or there's HUGE issues/screaming) now the lining is HORIZONTAL. For my son, the initial improvement in this area was opposite. His lines were always horizontal and stretched throughout the house, and the improvement was vertical towers instead. > Anyhow, here's the thing. After two days (last dose of OLE was Monday evening) I stopped giving him the OLE b/c I have seen signs of him getting sick again (just a stuffy cold-type of a thing) For my son, this would have been a cold virus coming out of his body/brain. I would have kept the OLE to fully elimnate it. > I have read the file on viruses and enzymes, but I am still wondering how would OLE work for viruses and what the doses would be/what kind of a regimen to use. I know that most of us don't really understand how the whole viral thing works, but I was wondering if anyone had any further ideas for me on what may be happening to my son. It sounds to me like the virus/es were starting to come out. I would start the OLE again. > An hour after I had given him the yeast supps and the OLE this morning I could see an apparent change to ever better receptive language, just amazing eye contact, and spontaneous expressive language/word approximations. His anxiety so reduced, unbelievable (I had to take my husband's car this morning and my son usually freaks/cries/needs some time to adjust when this happens, but today he climed in with a smile. At school he smiled at the teacher picking him up from my car....just amazing) > > What i am seeing just makes me want to continue with OLE all the time! Yep. Keep it for at least several months, if not longer. I gave it to my son for a year, then mistakenly thought I could stop when his progressed " leveled out " . The first time I removed it, major regression, so I kept it. The second time I removed it, no change so I thought I was done. But then he got a cold which I watched go right into his brain. So now I have given him OLE [and Virastop] since last September, with very good results. > I am only doing OLE right now. Do you think that adding ViraStop would possibly help my son with battling the viruses better/with lesser side effects/faster? For my family, yes. The combination is VERY effective. It does tend to stir up more yeast tho, so watch for that. But the gains have been incredible. > Could these colds be a sign of viruses being re-activated? For my kids, " coming out " , not necessarily re-activated. While the viruses were in their bodies/brains, they were still " active " , but not in usual virus-related ways. They were preventing language acquisition, causing visual stims, etc. On their way out, they cause typical cold [or flu] symptoms, usually for a very short duration like 24 hours, then they are gone. When they come out as rashes, it takes longer. >> Adding virastop may then possibly eliminate them? That's how it works over here. > Do you think it is OK to do a few weeks of viral protocol, then give it a break (so that my son does not have a cold all the time)? My son does not have a cold all the time. They come and go in waves. The colds are usually 1-2 days long, followed by a stretch of time without a cold, altho maybe a rash. I would NEVER stop the viral protocol, because that gives the virus time to go back to where it was, and replicate and increase. Giving a lot of vitamin C has mostly prevented them from going back into the brain. > Do you think it was all right to give him a few days off when I saw him getting sick, I stopped for two days a few months ago when my son had the stomach flu and he could not keep anything down. But started again as soon as he was better. Otherwise, I keep giving the anti-virals, ESPECIALLY when sick. When I was sick, I actually *increased* my anti-virals, and I was able to function and even work that day, without major discomfort. It did cause a LOT of yeast for me tho. >> or once I start to tackle the viruses, I should give it at least a week or two without interruptions? Keep going, don't stop. > And can you do a viral protocol during chelation? I am planning to start with Andy's protocol at the end of the month, after our vacation. Yes, altho be sure you have a good yeast protocol, and keep a stable dose of anti-virals at the beginning, so you can keep things under control. Guest guest
: Can you tell me what brand of OLE you are using and what dosing? I will be starting this soon and hope to follow those who are seeing positive results. Thanks and congrats with your progress.
