Guest guest
My grandmother had Alzheimer's (or heavy metal toxicity which mimicked it) as does my mother. When I called the one who did the autopsy on my grandmother to ask why they didn't at least do a test for aluminum (in order to collect data for reasearch/stats) he said there's no connection. (That's what he thinks) He did however say he had personally seen enough of a connection with mercury that he and his wife and kids all had their mercury fillings removed! The fact that he admitted that surprised me. He said they always save some of the brain tissue when they do autopsies, and if I wanted to pay for it and could find a lab to do it they would provide the saved tissue. _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html
Guest guest
A doctor I spoke to about Alzheimers who did autopsy's found that lovely tangled aluminum and other metals were found wrapped around nerve cells, seeing is believing I guess. It was discovered (also?) that CASEIN is common to all three types of Alzeimers, found in the fibrillary tangles, etc. And that mercury interferes with DPP4, the enzyme that helps break down casein and gluten.... I think pieces of the puzzle are falling into place. Lorilyn

Guest guest
We parents deserve, I SAY DESERVE, a medical degree, we have the vested interest to make our lives a little more pleasant! (and of course our KIDS). GOD HELP US ALL. It is a puzzle missing a few pieces isn't it, once we get that, theres no stopping our outrage and our destiny. (unless you consider being highly educated a > PREVENTION--as the statistics say the more college you have the less likely > you are to end up with Alzheimers.) For at least 4 years there have been some voices in med schools who feel Alzheimers might be a viral infection .......... Just one more comment about Alzheimer's: Note that a famous novelist (Iris Murdoch), a past US President (Reagan), a former Prime Minister of England (Churchill), College Professors and other educated or people in demanding " brainpower " professions( including God himself, Charlton Heston) have develped Alzheimer's. Personally I think it's just wishful thinking that if you " use it, you won't lose it " . When my mother- in- law develped Alzheimer's (a woman who was quite adapt at complicated crossword puzzles - which is one of the so-called brain exercises to help keep all your " marbles " ) they tried such brain exercises, in the hope of keeping the disease from worsening. Nothing helped. The disease is relentless and seems to be unassociated with education and using your noodle. Especially if it turns out to be a viral infection, or " aging " of that organ of the body or some other outside cause.
Guest guest
Hello everyone, My mom was recently diagnosed with alzheimers so we looked on Dr. Bihari's site and found that he had given it to 4 people in 2003. Dad is gathering all the info he can to take to the Dr. to try to convince him to give mom LDN. He could use a few personal examples from you all if any of you have any experience with LDN and alzheimers. Thanks Terria
Guest guest
Hi Terria, You should email the LDN webmaster, Dr. Gluck at dgluck@... and ask him if there is more recent info on Dr. Bihari's Alzheimer patients. Also I have attached a paper by Dr. Bin Liu on PD, Alzheimer's and naloxone as a treatment. Good Luck, http://jpet.aspetjournals.org/cgi/content/full/304/1/1 > Hello everyone, > > My mom was recently diagnosed with alzheimers so we looked on Dr. > Bihari's site and found that he had given it to 4 people in 2003. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for your info. We have already asked if there is anything more recent than 2003 and they said no. Guest guest
There is interesting information on alzheimers and curcumin which is found in turmeric. I first heard about it on Dr. Hoffmans radio show, " Health Talk " . It seems that it may break up the alzheimers plaque in the brain and may explain why there is less alzheimers in India and cultures that use alot of tumeric. nancy <bible770@...> wrote: What are the symptoms of alzheimers?
