Guest guest Posted August 11, 2002 Report Share Posted August 11, 2002 Back in my wishful-thinking days, I tried ALA and L-carnitine supplements, but decided I was wasting my money. Whatever it was supposed to do for me (I knew at the time) didn't happen. Remember we were hashing around on the list a few weeks back about the possible use of Vitamin C as an appetite suppressant? I started taking megadoses, just to see if there might be something to it. It didn't affect my appetite, but lord-have-mercy my skin sure looks good! Now that's a lotta bang for the buck.
