***My experience exactly. True that rapid weight loss contributes to muscle loss. But a slow and steady CR program combined with sensible weight-bearing exercise should preserve muscle. We worry a lot about osteopenia, forgetting that sarcopenia is 100% PREVENTABLE.

Titanmeister: If I continue to lose weight without experiencing what I consider the negative aspects of CRON (nonexistent libdo, irritability, constant pre-occupation with food, pain upon sitting, etc) then I will slowly continue to lose weight. However, I think I'm close to being where I personally want to be.

***Bravo! Isn't there a fine line between CR and starvation, no matter how good the nutrition?
