Guest guest
All, OK, everyone is just cracking me up regarding the libido thing. A few common sense things and my own life with my wife of 14 years. To review I have been a CRONie for 15 monthes, going from 210 lbs on a 5'9 " small-frame male to 160 lbs. today. I have also seen the benefits and typical side effects (coldness, slight iratability, at least my wife tells me). Some comments 1) If our bodies are slowed in aging then naturally there is less of a biological urge to procreate and extend the species. 2) I must admit my sex-life has decreased in quantity but not quality. Chief reasons: a) I get up for work at 5:30 Am to commute into Manhatten. We have two daughters (6 and 8) for forget the big S word until after they are in bed, which is later and later while they are young. c) Since being on CRON, my days are fuller and lived much more fully, HOWEVER, I do crash at night and need sleep after 17-18 hours of being awake. d) being a working mom, my wife is also whiped out at night. 3)Those of you complaining about reduced libido cannot possibly have as much difficulty as having 2 young kids arround. To add onto the " kid effect " on CRON, my immune system cannot fight off all the germs the kids creatively breed in school. I am a CRONNie who gets an occasional cold (2-3 a year, about the same as before CRON). 4) Sex drive is a normal and healthy part of our lives. If that is being diminished because of diet, then something else is wrong or the diet is being taken to counter productive levels. Guest guest
Thank heaven for Joe! I will now put away this Klondike Bar and the bag of potato chips and break out the egg whites and nori sheets! I was having nightmares about telling Chele I had a 'headache' if you know what I mean! You have resurrected my hopes of enjoying a life extending diet and still getting my fair share of romance. By the way, that was my family that all lived into triple digits... I must say that were I in your situation, I too would be highly motivated to exercise both caution and CRON in my life...especially with those two beautiful little ones in the picture. As for the colds, I highly recommend trying large doses of Vitamin C combined with echinacea when you feel a cold coming on (efficacy for echinacea is short, like two weeks so you can't just stay on it), but I haven't been sick this century yet and I swear this stuff works! Mind you I don't yet have two little petri dishes bringing home every known virus every other day....but try it anyway! Guest guest
Dave, Already tried that. Nothing seams to be able to beat the comunicability of a pair of runny nosed little girls.
