Guest guest
Thanks for pointing that out. I have reposted. I think I understand how to interpret the rules and based on that, the test indicates my son DOES NOT have mercury poisoning. I don't understand this. Can the test be wrong? Also, my son was taking Methyl B-12 for about 3.5 months. Can this screw up the test? Also, since my son was on the MB12, why was the Cobalt level so low? Experts, please weigh in. Thanks. Guest guest
According to Andy's counting rules, if a person has mercury in their brain only, then " A person with mercury in their brain only would most likely not have impaired mineral transport " and " The brain (unfortunately) hangs on to the mercury much longer, and does not clear itself out. Such a person might not have any laboratory abnormalities. Or, they might have endocrine (hormone) abnormalities (of the sort that endocrinologists and mainstream MD's are unlikely to understand), or neurological abnormalities. " --- My son may have both endocrine and neurological abnormalities. He is being tested for high testosterone (an endocrine issue) as he plays with himself a great deal more than is normal. His neurological abnormalities are his lack of speech, he has ASD etc. Is this test telling me that if he has mercury poisoning, its limited to his brain? Guest guest
I agree, the mb12 will make it " look " better because of the metylation will help remove some level of metals. WE have two tests pre any supps and 3 months into dietary changes and methylation support, my sons toxic excretion was almost all in the red. Mineral skewing was minor, but compared to the pre, HUGE difference. Still worth chelating. > > > > > > > > > Below are my son's hair test results. Guest guest
> Aluminum 20 < 8.0 YELLOW > Mercury 0.59 < 0.40 YELLOW > Titanium 1.4 < 1.0 YELLOW Consider removing sources of current exposures http://www.danasview.net/metals.htm > Copper 8.6 10- 22 YELLOW UNDER 50 > Zinc 180 100- 190 GREEN OVER 50 One of my kids was low copper, I had to supplement him with copper for several months. Then he was low zinc and copper, so now I give him both. Dana
