Guest guest
Ria: Red wine is very healthy. Continue to indulge but perhaps cut back to one glass. I stopped drinking wine myself once when I reached a plateau in my weight loss, and was getting impatient . I have since resumed my one glass nightly. So cut back to one glass and enjoy yourself. Dr Walford also enjoys his wine so he says, and I'm told that at a dinner at his house very recently, at which several Southern California CRONIES attended, the wine bottle was present at the table. on 8/29/2002 12:04 PM, Ria Brownlow at riabrownlow@... wrote: > Dear All: > > Does anyone have suggestions on how to give up the 1-2 glasses > > of wine one has become accustomed to drinking most evenings? > > These empty calories really add up. Guest guest
One glass of wine has generally been associated with good health. Perhaps if you bought more expensive wine :-) you'd be motivated to drink a little less... Seriously I would suggest incremental changes, such as drinking from a smaller glass, perhaps drinking EOD, etc.... Good luck and congrats if that's the weakest link in your diet. These empty calories really add up. My difficulty in dropping this seemingly simple pleasure has me wondering if I am an alcoholic!
