Guest guest
Hi All, Let me introduce to you two sites on reducing heart disease by supplements. First, is: http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/408410 This is a good site for preventing and treating heart disease with micronutrients, especially garlic, coenzyme Q-10, fish oils, vitamins (B6, B12, C, and E), and folic acid. In their conclusion they say, I think fairly: “If a variety of healthy foods are eaten, the necessary vitamins can likely be obtained from diet alone”. And then, for soy is: http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/406958 It was fairly good. You need again to wind your way through 9 pages, though. It said that soybeans are safe, about 25 grams will do it and in randomized trials it shines. However, mortality and morbidity data are lacking. Cheers, Al.
