I guess I could go there once or twice a month to stock up on some frozen stuff huh?

I'm not so lucky (being in the UK), but - inspired by the possibility of frozen blueberries - I checked out a couple of frozen food sections in local supermarkets. It seems I can get frozen blueberries as part of a range of " fruits of the forest " / " summer fruits " packages from local freezer departments. I tried one that consisted of cherries, grapes, blueberries (19%), blackberries (13%) and blackcurrents (11%). I defrosted it and fed it through my twin gear juicer. The result was a sugary liquid - which I believe I would have assigned a low nutritional value to if I had been fed it blindfold. However it may have some good things left intact in it - even if it tastes a bit dead. I also found some frozen raspberries - and some frozen organic raspberries. That's my only known source of organic raspberries locally. I checked out the regular ones. Not bad, I thought. About half way in between the same shop's real raspberries and sugar water - both in terms of taste and cost. It's interesting to me that I can buy frozen berries. Each autumn I pick and freeze a year's supply of blackberries from local hedgerows. I might put less effort into that if I can buy similar material in the shops.
